So far NOT good… have had to call go pro twice already .. one of the issues is a sd card read issue after first attempt of using it for its purpose of recording my sons baseball game ‘( mostly his main plays cause it won’t last half a game without overheating or dying) … lost all the days recordings …again not that you can get much without it overheating right away …. Although they offer a replacement under warranty after less than 2 times I’ve used it , but that it will take 10 to 14 days AFTER I send this one back first ……Not acceptable or impressed with this product at all !!

Imagine spending 400 dollars on a go pro and it randomly shuts itself off on a full battery, empty sd(SanDisk – Extreme PLUS 256GB microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card) card and not outside condition specific. Let me go into detail here. I originally bought the clear plastic protective case for it because I use it on my motorcycle helmet. I was afraid of things hitting it, but it has a habit of overheating to barely touchable when it’s in there for any +30 minute period of time. When it stayed on that is. I took it out. Still turns off. Get some new batteries see if that was the issue? I purchased the 2 pack of enduros with their charger. Problem solved right? No. All of this was on stock settings that seem to be prioritizing battery life. The reason I don’t suspect the battery is it will sometimes record a longer video if I restarted it, after noticed it turned itself off. So it doesn’t make any sense the first one cuts short and the second one goes on until the battery actually dies. Well I wasn’t terribly happy with the video quality so I swapped a few settings 4k, 60hz and super view with the motion smoothing setting off. It’s still doing it. I dropped it down to 1080p. Still does it. I had quick capture on, still did it. Turned it off, still does it. I have no solution for this and I’m outside of the return window. It’s random and sometimes does fine for a little bit. Then it’ll just throw a hissy fit and not work intermittently. Cold and hot weather have no affect so far as I’ve seen. -80/10 cannot reccomend. If I could give it a 0 star rating I would. Mine is a complete lemon as is. Build quality and UI seem fine though. Makes a wonderful paperweight if you’re that bouji.

Not waterproof. The warranty states that it doesn’t cover water damage and that it won’t cover water damage because the user may not close the door properly.

The product does as advertised. But the accessories that you buy separately don’t perform as advertised. I’ve never purchase go pro products in my life. Well I’m a disabled veteran on a low fixed income.
I purchased 2x go pro hero black
2x go pro plastic encasing
I purchased 2x car mounts
And i purchased 1 of the hand holders for the go pro
I was going to use this to try to generate extra revenue since i only get disability.
The mounts claim to handle speeds of up to 150mph. I setup one car as a test run and did some video recording with some buddies and the thing falls off my car. I did everything properly to make sure it was installed correctly. It fell off, and I lost the go pro, the mount, and the encasing. They didn’t care to help.
They have like a D or F rating on Better Business Bureau

I had been using an older Kodak HD camera, but it died recently, so it was time for an upgrade. This camera is a lot better overall, and the wireless integration seems like a nice feature, but I could not get my iPhone 15 to recognize it within the app. So far, I’ve just transferred the videos directly to my laptop, which is what I’ve done with the Kodak.
I’m using it a car for when I’m driving on a track. The Image quality is really good, and field of view is more than what I got with the Kodak. The camera does a decent job of filtering out wind noise. I was hoping there’d be a way to integrate an external mic, but I haven’t researched enough to see if that’s possible. With the noise cancellation, I am beginning to wonder if it’s even necessary. I ended up getting 60-70 minutes of battery life for video. I just hopped on the GoPro bandwagon, so I don’t know if that’s bad or good.
The accessory pack is good, although the image shown is a little misleading. It seems to imply that you’re getting a second battery. My kit did not include a battery (one came with the camera). That’s when I read the Details of the listing, which doesn’t list a battery, yet there it is in the photo (to the left of the Memory card adapter). I also can’t remember if I got a memory card, because I ordered several of the same size and capacity as the one in this kit, they both arrived around the same time. Otherwise, all of the accessory brackets and such are decent, and necessary. If the GoPro package itself had an adapter to a standard camera mount, I might not have purchased the kit. The tripod is ok, but small, and I will probably make use of the Selfie Stick, if only to annoy other people around me. I’m not really complaining about the kit, and it’s hard to argue against it, because it’s a really good value for what you get. Who knows? Maybe I’ll use it on a boat, and use the yellow float attachment, or maybe I’ll attach it to my helmet at some point, and the accessory case is really good if you need to hold just the essentials for your trip, like a couple batteries and a charger, charging and transfer cables, and the mount pieces you need.

I got the creator edition. I’ve got to say I haven’t owned a GoPro since the H10, but I went with the GoPro hero 12 for my YouTube channel that I am fishing & outdoors. It’s been great. Better battery life, 6.0 Hypersmooth is so nice ! I also just got a drone just to get more great shots.. GoPro has been the king of action cameras since they dropped the Hero 10! We all know it ! That camera change the game. I would most definitely recommend that you grab this camera. Especially as a first camera, I would suggest the creator edition. It would be great for Blogging, Podcasts and stuff like that. Also, the mount with the (creator edition) also acts as a power bank when you plug it in so your battery lasts about as long as (3) batteries would on your first adventure. Or that first set of shots you record when you go out.. I will be buying 2 more. Most likely gonna get another Hero 12 for my fishing partner, then grab that Hero 13 bundle when it drops for the stationary camera that I set up just to watch what’s going on when we are fishing , etc. Thanks BestBuy for always being so helpful in finding the right gear for me. Also would like to say that the employee that helped me was awesome ! Not too pushy, even told me go out and make some content first before buying more electronics. Which turned out to be great advice because I did and have done some great edits and now I’m confident in my photography and what I want to use. That’s GoPro !
