Cuisinart – Custom Classic Toaster Oven Broiler – Stainless Steel

This may not be fair review since I didn’t even try it but as soon as I opened it I could feel that the plastic on the handle was not going to last. It just seemed cheap. It’s too bad because it’s a good brand. I didn’t even take it out of the package; I just returned it that same day.

Overall a good toaster oven. The quality of baking is much better than any toaster oven I’ve owned before. Cinnamon rolls, biscuits, etc. are baked properly while remaining soft instead of crunchy.

There are three things I would like to see improved. The dials are somewhat difficult to determine. Instead of a clear mark, one of the ribs on each dial is *slightly* longer than the others. This can be especially difficult for older people or those with vision issues.

To toast you set the dial to toast, the darkness level and then hit the start button. The problem is the if you move the darkness level even slightly past the lowest setting, you get very dark toast. It really should a dial of dark toast to ash. I usually keep it at the lowest setting and toast everything twice. It’s pretty fast, so it’s not a deal-breaker for me.

Finally, this toaster oven does not have a timer for anything. If you want to bake something for a half hour you have to set a timer elsewhere and then turn the oven off manually when the time is up. This can be both good and bad, but it would be nice to have the option.

The overall quality is great, it heats up very past and the crumb tray is very easy to clean. If the rack is kept in the upper position, it will slide out an inch or two when the door is opened, which is very nice. In this position it also has a catch so the tray won’t fall out of the oven. However, if you put the tray in it’s lower position it will not come out when you open the door, it may even prevent the door from closing. Once this happens though, you’ll easily see why and you’ll know how to prevent it from happening again.

Overall I would recommend this toaster oven, but I would strongly suggest you take a minute to read the instructions. I normally would never say that, but for this model it is very helpful.

I have had this same TOB for many years. I love it and was so pleased that I could get one just like it. I can definitely recommend it. Best Buy was easy for ordering and the delivery was earlier than expected.

Works really well. The only negative is that the pan that you stick food on is a bit flimsy. But the oven works well and works fast, and is also good size so you can fit several items at a time.

This is our second Cuisinart oven and we have been very pleased with both purchases. They are reliable and simple to use.

We had an older toaster oven that we needed to replace. This one is pretty easy to use, straightforward to understand. There is a crumb tray, though we haven’t attempted to empty it yet – haven’t had that long. Our last Cuisinart was 6 years old when we decided to replace it. Still worked – was just not looking very good anymore. I recommend it.

Put the bread in and get your toast out. It does the job of a toaster oven. No complaints.

It is a nice unit. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a timer knob.

Everything I wanted with no extra bells and whistles to confuse.

I loved this toaster oven so much. This is the second one we’ve owned. Sadly, I would give zero stars if I could. We are incredibly lucky that we were home during this incident. I was sitting on the couch in our living room and suddenly noticed the smell of something burning. I immediately walked into the kitchen and saw that the red indicator light was on in the front of the toaster oven. The burning smell was definitely coming from the toaster oven. I attempted to turn it of by pressing the button on the front. That didn’t work. I had to unplug it to get the indicator light to turn off. I then moved it into our garage so that it wouldn’t continue to put off smoky odors into the house. The wall behind the toaster oven was hot to the touch and the toaster oven itself was radiating intense heat. We’ve had this item for less than two years. I am so disappointed. But also grateful I was home. Wonder what would have happened if i wasn’t.

Works great as a toaster or mini oven. Large space, can fit a few slices of pizza in there or like 6 pieces of bread.

This toaster over broiler is good looking on our counter and works wonderful.

Good heating leftovers that don’t go in the microwave (pizza), but very uneven toasting. Sometimes you have to turn the bread over to get it right. The knobs are also hard to see without a bright light.

This toaster oven is very easy to use. I just love mine, toast comes out just the way I like it. Heating up left over food is easy to do. I am very happy that I decided to purchase this one.

So far I am enjoying my new toaster oven. I ordered it online, but wish I could have at least seen a model in the store. It’s smaller than I thought.

The smoke comes out of the oven toaster when you toast bread even when low temperature is used.

Simply to use. The crumb tray catches does well at catching crumbs and is easy to remove and empty, Toasting is even.

No timer for oven. Dials very dark, hard to read.Had an Oyster and was happier wirh ir.

New toaster oven just came and it works so well! Heats anything we need in no time, and arrived on time. Would recommend if you are looking to update your old toaster oven!

I had this one and it was really old so i replaced it with the same one. lots of other choices but this one is the best.

This is the best toaster oven I have ever had. It cooks evenly and the oven is easy to clean!
