Returns

It works as designed but it’s quirky. It needed to be constantly connected to the GoPro again at inopportune times. It also needed to be reset a couple times on a road trip to work properly again. The advertised battery life definitely didn’t seem to be the case in practical use. Maybe we got an hour of footage before we needed to charge it again.

As far as the feel of the handheld I’m well pleased. When adding the media mod with this product, I found that the Gopro likes to turn itself on without my input. This could be user error but until I figure that out, I’ll suggest using this with the Gopro and attaching another mic instead.

I love the Volta.
I used it with my GoPro Hero 10 last year at the Grand Canyon.
I tried to capture lightning over the canyon with my mirrorless.
I ended up pulling out my Gopro on the Volta to capture video . I ended up pulling amazing stills mainly because I always knew my Gopro would have enough carge. Attached is lightning images over the North rim thanks to the Volta!
