A. SHIPPING COSTS

B. TRANSIT, HANDLING & ORDER CUT-OFF TIME
Generally, shipments are in transit for 5 – 7 days (Monday to Friday). Order cut-off time will be 05:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (New York). Order handling time is 3-5 business days (Monday to Friday).

D. CHANGE OF ADDRESS

E. TRACKING

F. Cancellations

G. Parcels Damaged In Transit

Returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Being a 360 camera already makes it amazing but there are some things they just under delivered on. The biggest thing is the lack of ambisonic or spatial audio featured by gopro. There are ways to go about getting this audio but its not something the average consumer would want to do or take the time to learn because its pretty complicated. The other thing is the microphones placements on the camera are very random and weird and show that in the audio. There are no mics on the right side of the camera internal or external so your sound is always going to come out a little more in the left channel than reality. Also there is no way to bring down the input so if youre in a loud place like a concert you can guarantee your audio is gonna either be fairly blown out or muffled because of the filtering it tries to do. Video quality is also subpar to all other 360 cameras on the market. 360 cameras are great but this one is not the best and when its created by a company that consistently over promises and under delivers it shows in the quality of their products.

holds on to the camera as expected and sits nicely on the ground, i dont fear it tipping over, its smooth and light. Its not as tall as I thought it should be, but honestly its high enough to get the job done. 🙂

Does exactly what it’s meant to do. Make sure you use it with the camera straight up to be able to have the pole disappear when you edit. Very durable. Tripod mode is stable enough to not need much post editing.

For the price tag, I would expect better. It feels a bit off in durability and I’m not particularly crazy about the tripod legs. I feel it could use with a spring mechanism to shoot the legs outwards and a more robust quality to it. The twist action to lock and unlock the pole for extension and dropping is also not ideal. There are better ways of locking and unlocking extensions like this. I’ve also read that it tends to fail in the cold because of this, I have yet to find out as it is still summer. It is not terrible by any means, it just feels like it could be a lot better for the price tag. Some more length would be very nice too, but then that is how they do business… and well that results in this kind of review. The longer I’m owning my gopro and its GIMIKS, the more I’m losing respect for this company. Too many designs are feeling like lazy cop outs to pander more money. I don’t mind them trying to make a buck on these attachments and what not. They are not the only ones. What I mind is when theses attachments are just a lazy design and charge too much for said lazy design. I expect much better for something that was specifically designed for this camera.
Again, not a terrible product. But I just can’t recommend this thing for the price tag and what it actually is. If you have the money, do what you want. But it’s not that horribly special for what they are charging.

I did end up returning this and purchased the Insta360 tripod instead. The Insta360 tripod is a lower price and offers more features and flexibility. The GoPro tripod is not a bad product, I just don’t think it’s overall worth the price.
