My absolute favorite coffee machine! Only one I’ve found that I have the option to either use a K-cup or I can brew my own coffee grounds (the filter is big enough!)

Very easy to use, and makes a great cup of coffee!

It was a gift for my girl and she loves it! After setting it up we took a trip to grab a variety of pods and this Ninja did NOT disappoint. It also has a reusable filter for the ground coffee one would use if they were so inclined. Sleek and slender so it fits anywhere.

This is my second Ninja coffee maker. I am not quite sure why it stopped working. It is a lot different than a Keurig machine with cleaning and descaling, But customer service was responsive, quick and sent us another one within 4 days. Although the box was damaged when it was delivered like someone cut into the box, the coffee maker itself was fine.

Bought this Ninja and thought it was a good purchase. Wrong. Using a K-cup pod it bursts and of course grounds everywhere. Every time I used this brand, it would do it. Today Clean came on. It would not even let me clean it. Just made noise and stopped. The water pump motor must be shot as others have mentioned. Waste of money.

We all love this machine. Very sleek and easy to store.

I had an issue with the coffee maker. I contacted ninja, followed their procedures and they told me I would receive a replacement in about 5 days. I drink coffee everyday so I went to dunkin for my coffee. I called ninja after 5 days. They showed my case and told me they would let me know the status within 24/48 hours. I called again after 2 days. Ninja said I would receive the replacement in about 5 days. They wouldn’t tell me what happened to my original replacement. I asked to have the replacement expedited but the supervisor refused. I had to wait another 5 days. Ninja doesn’t care. The new ninja products are poor quality. I’m having problems with the replacement now. It isn’t worth the aggravation calling ninja customer service again. Instead of spending another $40 at dunkin, I’ll go buy a Cuisinart.

If you want the ability to make a single cup of coffee with a K-cup or brew a larger cup with grounds then this coffee pot is for you. One of the biggest drawbacks for single serve coffee makers is having to use two K-cups to make 2 cups of coffee each morning, which can get expensive. So to have the ability to make up to 24 ounces of coffee using the grounds attachment is wonderful. The price of the machine makes this the best combo machine out there.

Broke in 2 months!!!! Took to the store, they refused to take it back, because I had not purchased GeekSquad Protection!! BestBuy is a theif!!! all they do is just sell their protection plans, not even worrying about consumers!!

Ive been using keuirg all my life finally decided to use this specific one and really loved it ! i love all the big sizes it can do and speciality sizes but sadly will return due to the fact . i only need to heat up water for my black coffee so you need to keep the coffee filter in in order to be able to brew overtime that coffee filterbuilds up with white stuff and very hard go come off and i noticed the inside of the spout where the hot water cones out into the cup builds up with the white stuff and very hard to get in that angle i dont like all this white buildup going into my cup so will be returning for another differ ninja

I love this coffee maker it’s perfect what I wanted to do

I am replacing my old Ninja dual brew because the motor was wearing out.
This one is smaller, but almost the same water res. amount.
I like the interchangeable basket/pod set up better than the old one. It’s much simpler.
The -1 star is because you need to use a coarse ground coffee in the permanent filter or it will leave a good amount of sludge in your cup.
Other than that: coffee brews super hot. The “rich” function actually works (the old one never did).

I loved my coffee maker but after 4 months it. Stopped working

Really thoughtful design meets really crappy tasting coffee. No more buying Ninjas for me. The first one I purchased was the 12 cup. That one resulted in bitter, undeveloped coffee. And so did this single serve offering, except it was even more watered down. I used filtered water. I tried three different coffee types – grounds from PEET’s and Amazon, and a pod from Dunkin’. Yes, all quite fresh and bought especially to use with the Ninjas. I used the classic option and brewed between 10 and 12 ounces using the suggested amount for grounds, then a little bit less, then a bit more…to get the exact same result. Underdeveloped and weak, bitter, muddy and watery results. Even when it was brewing, no delightful aroma emerged. The brewed cups smelled unappealing. I went and bought Dunkin pods today to finish my experiment. While it brewed the single pod in one minute vs. the three minutes for brewing the grounds, the result was practically identical. The pod coffee was only a tad more developed, yet still watery using 10 ounces. Using the previous coffee machine I bought – the 12 cup Ninja- I had the same poor results with the classic and the rich brews so I felt there was not much point in continuing to squander coffee and $ trying various permutations of settings.

Other failures include the instruction manual which includes irrelevant and thus very confusing information, as it covers an entire range of their pod makers and doesn’t specify which instructions applicable to which models. For example, it says there are two upper and lower needles on the unit. And that a front nozzle comes off to clean. These are not features of the PB051.

And then the customer specialist online was sadly useless. Clearly not familiar with the tech specs of this item, she could not offer simple and concise answers to straightforward questions, and after an hour of pointless dialog, she uploaded the user guide that I already have, and it addressed absolutely none of the issues that I need answers on.

So, a mere two stars for the unit as I do think this design is really nice and so wanted the unit to produce flavorful coffee. I will also say I am NO coffee snob. I’ve been drinking instant and that was far more full-bodied than this. So. Buh bye Ninja.
