Returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Returns

This coffee maker is awesome! Some of the other reviews mention that it drops grinds when removing the filter. As long as you tap the grinder before removing the filter it will prevent wasting coffee grounds.

How i wish this worked better! I love the idea of a grind & brew single-serve, so i had to buy it. But as you will see if you buy it, it comes with problems. First is the grind. It grinds and overfills the basket and has a lot of extra grinds (with no way of adjusting grind time or amount). The grind basket is never set up under the grinder correctly. When it grinds, grinds fall in back of the basket and end up on the base. You will loose a lot of coffee over the long run. Quite a waste of coffee and you would think in 2023 that a product wouldn’t be engineered so poorly like this. And finally… if you dont have the water level filled and try to make the last cup, it will only fill the mug part way and then think it has the mug filled. That means you cannot add more water and have it complete the cycle! your cup is done! You would think the machine would beep and tell you to add water and let it finish brewing the cup. but nope! you have to start a new cup and turn the machine off so you wont overfill your last brew. Like i said, I really wanted this to be good, but the engineering is very poor. Especially for Cusinart!

Great coffeemaker, but it can be an inconvenience. I had a Keurig previously and it stopped working. So, I loved the idea of this Cusinart product. For time efficiency, I use the Kcups during the week while on weekends, I grind and brew my coffee. The clean up is constant especially while using the grind and brew option. Overall, the look is quite sleek and modern and the use is simple .

Great alternative for a Keurig. You get way more bank for your buck. You can grind fresh coffee into a Keurig pod like container.
Only con is the grinder gets stuck a lot and you have to use the brush they give you to get it through the grinder.

It makes a decent cup of coffee and I prefer the freshness of a new grind. However, it still comes with the downsides of a usual single cup brewer like a Keurig. In addition, it tends to leave a silt of grounds in the bottom of the cup which can become bitter over time. Better than a Keurig, smells much better, but I prefer my at home setup way more. This is a reasonable substitution to have in my office

I have enjoyed using this coffee maker. It brews quickly and the water is hotter than the previous Cuisinart model that I had which was the SS-10. I haven’t had any issues with the coffee maker at this point. I only have 2 complaints. My first complaint is that the water tank is too small. I’m finding that I keep having to fill up the tank, and it is harder to access because it is in the back of the machine and can be harder to pull out if it is stored under a cabinet. My second complaint is that I cannot fit tall insulated metal cups under the area where the brewed coffee is coming out. When I place a mug underneath it all fits fine. The fact that it doesn’t fit my larger cups is not a problem with the machine per se, but I didn’t pay attention to that when I was purchasing the new machine.

Had it for a month and am about ready to go back to Keurig. It’s very messy. It makes crazy weird noises. And most importantly it doesn’t dispense the correct amount of water (ie. you choose the 12 oz option and you only get 8 oz of water, or choose 10oz option and you only get 6oz. But if you choose the 6oz option, you will actually get 6oz). The only feature that works well is the coffee bean grinder.

After using this coffee maker and grinder for approximately two months now, I am now leaving my review. The ease of using my own coffee or Keurig cake cups is great. I find that I get a better tasting cup of coffee from grinding my own beans. The only negative that I have on the grinder is that if while you are grinding your beans, if you don’t keep tapping up on the coffee bean basket while it’s grinding coffee to compress the beans when you pull the basket out, it does push some of the ground beans out onto the catcher. So my recommendation is to keep all of the ground coffee beans in the little basket when you pull it out while the grinder is grinding the beans keep tapping up on the basket and when you pull it out, the coffee is in the basket and not falling out when you pull the basket out.

I purchased this coffee maker because of its features. I have read a lot of good and bad reviews about it. I am loving it a lot, just having the options of grinding your own coffee and you can tell the difference with taste. Now in the early morning ning hours I use the K cups just to keep it quite and during the day I use the grinder built in. All in all I am happy I could use either way to make my coffee. The good outweighs the bad, my honest opinion.

I wanted to like this machine, but you can’t control the amount of coffee it grinds. So I am dumping some of the ground coffee each time I’m using the reusable capsule, or I’m adding additional water to the cup and having to microwave it to warm it back up after the brewing is over.
I don’t want the coffee as strong, and want to be able to easily vary the strength depending upon which beans I am using. Also, the machine is always messy, with coffee grounds spilling from the grinding process, and from K-cups which frequently leak coffee grounds because the machine does not seal around the puncture needle through the top of the K-cup foil very well. I like a lot of the features of this machine, but it makes a continual mess you will have to clean up.

A Cuisinart burr grind and brew coffeemaker user for years, had to move to a K-cup coffeemaker because my tummy could no longer handle 5-6 cups of coffee per day.
