Returns

We love it, saves us so much money on buying the cold brew that my hubs is addicted to. I guess I really had no idea what I was buying. There is no technology to this. It is basically a giant steel filter for your coffee grounds, like a tea ball of sorts that you steep your coffee in cold water for 24 hours. So it seems pricey knowing that. However, this is one of those products in your home that when you pick it up, you know expense was not spared in its making. You can feel the quality of the glass and steel. I would buy it again, but I have a feeling I won’t have to. Seems like it will last forever as long as I don’t drop it.

The cold brew tastes great. Be sure to water down your drink though as instructed, it makes a concentrate that supposedly makes 14 servings, however I’d say you’re lucky if you get 10 servings. It does call for A LOT of grounds for one batch, but it’s so worth it.

This cold brew maker is great. It fits perfectly on the top shelf of my fridge, and it looks nice. The glass holding cube means my coffee only ever tastes like coffee. I try to grind my own beans kind of coarsely for it, but I’ve used regular ground coffee with no issue. It makes enough to get me through a week (plus a little extra for when i just need a second glass at the end of the week). The most intimidating part is washing and drying it. I generally only need to dry the bottom compartment and the lid pieces, since i go straight into brewing the next batch as soon as it’s clean. Yes, it is expensive, but it is well-designed and well-made, and has made quarantine bearable!

Extremely sturdy, compact and strong enough to stack stuff on if necessary. It’s short enough to possibly fit on a middle shelf in the refrigerator. Delivered great results on first batch of coffee concentrate. Other options work great too but the compact size sold me on this one. Manufacturer recommends coarse ground but the filter had no problem with fine ground commercial. Highly recommend.

Love this cold brewer! KitchenAid makes a quality product and I got this from Best Buy for a great price as usual. For those who like ice coffee or want a coffee with less acid, the cold brew is for you. If you follow the directions, this will make a coffee “concentrate” that you dilute with water to make your coffee. I have acid reflux so this is helpful for me.
