Definitely not a game for beginners. I have never died as many times in just the beginning of gameplay as I have on this game with any other games I’ve played before. This game will definitely test your patience. Low level monsters/humans can easily kill you with just a few swipes and blocking and/or dodging will literally tire you out which leaves you vulnerable. Slow methodical tactics is the only way to survive. Going in guns-a-blazing kamikaze style will get you nowhere. Auto tracking is terrible especially when forced to fight more than on monster/human. God forbid you’re fight a boss level type monster/human and encounter another enemy at the same time. Consider yourself dead. Not my cup of tea

Team Ninja’s take on the fuedal japan era of Samurai History, and twisting it & turning it on its head with Oni demons & mystical monsters— i’d say give Nioh 2 a try if you’re looking for a challenge based in fuedal Japan!!
