Returns

Bought on Black Friday for kids for Christmas. Had a few scuffs but I expected as much from a refurbished system. Figured since it is Geek Squad Refurbished it would work though. Worked for about 2 hrs then started making noises and stopped reading discs.
Chat support was no help. Just said to take to a store for a refund as they are out of stock. I guess that’s the chance you take with refurbished.

So far the playstation runs well. It is operating as intended. I woukd suggest at least wiping the console and controller off. I completely understand these are refurbished or used.. but a lysol wipe before sticking it in the box would be nice.

Went into the local store for pick up, opened thr box in the store to ensure all was good & realized we were missing the “chat headset” talked to a manager who confirmed the ad does include a chat headset but nothing he can do?? Ok. We leave & call customer service regarding the chat headset, was told either the store can replace the missing item or i can return the entire game console. My son wants the game, fine, we chalk it up. Literally the first two days SO many issues with the console & controller- hit or miss if it works. We took the game straight back to the store ASAP! Nothing but issues & no resolutions, just a bunch of people saying they cant do anything. Product was crap. After the return we went across the street & bought a PS4 1tb for $20 more.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews. Especially since I like Best Buy a lot and they took it back with no issues at all as well as refunded my money fast. The product deserves a 1 start but Best Buy gets a 5 star so I put it in the middle.
Product – First when the product was sent to me it had the wrong cables for power and it didn’t have a data cable just a charging cable. That cause major issues at first. Best Buy offered to swap them out in store. Didn’t get around to it cause I had spares. For the console itself it had its own issues where it would brick itself a lot which would take forever to get the system running again. After doing updates it got better but still would happen after not playing for days. After that I just returned the system too many issues
