D. CHANGE OF ADDRESS

Returns

Returns

Much lighter than my previous food processor, so it has to use suction cups to stay upright. It’s America’s Test Kitchen’s top-rated, so I purchased it, but I wonder how long they will work. Also, two things on storage…there’s still a tall column on the back of the machine, so it’s not as low profile as it could be, and the flip lid idea means the slicer is on top of the lid, so a bit dangerous in the cupboard.

I ordered Hamilton Beach because I had a mixer for 24 years, so I was hoping this brand for a food processor would be as durable and long lasting. But now a week after the year’s warranty and the machine just stopped working. The thing won’t even turn on. I had just mixed up a small batch crust and all was running well, but when I went to chop up a cup of walnuts, the machine would not even turn on. I tried several times and switched electrical outlets to no avail. Even when it worked, the machine seemed rough operating for mixing dough concoctions. It was fine for simple dry goods such as nuts or crumbles. But anything else was a struggle. Do not buy this model!
